Line manage the regional HR team and Hong Kong Operations function while driving culture, talent and organisational change
Provide strategic direction and operational delivery of the Asia HR team.
A collaborative Head of People role exists to lead the Asia HR function for a prestigious international law firm. Based in Hong Kong, this critical role will focus on delivering a first class HR service to the business while providing line management, leadership and development to the small HR team across the region and the Operations team in Hong Kong.
Reporting to the CHRO you will deliver strategic HR direction and operational excellence while line-managing the regional HR team and the Hong Kong Operations function. You will drive employee engagement, culture initiatives and support organisational change and transformation.
Key responsibilities include developing and implementing the regional HR strategy, managing talent, performance, compensation and compliance processes, handling complex employee relations, and ensuring legal and regulatory adherence across multiple jurisdictions, including Law Society and immigration requirements.
The ideal candidate will have at least five years’ senior HR leadership experience, preferably in private practice law or professional services. You will bring strong gravitas, proven multi-jurisdictional experience, the ability to influence at the highest level, and a proactive, resilient ‘can-do’ attitude.
